I met Ghanaian Singer/Singer Songwriter Jojo Abot on Instagram sometime in 2012. She invited me to at live concert she was headlining at Alliance Française Ghana. Later that year we met up at a friend’s house party. Incidentally she was not singing, and I was not photographing, we were in the kitchen cooking before all the guests arrive! Over the years we would collaborate on photoshoots in Ghana and events like the Gold Coast Art House in New York, each of us pushing the boundaries of our art forms.
